| Local Lodge 1526 was chartered in 1953 and has represented the factory workers at Amana Appliances since that time. Our goals include a safe workplace, a fair share of the profits, and justice on the job. We want a fair standard of living for ourselves and our families. We want to live our retired lives in dignity with a livable pension. Our members have worked long and hard to achieve our current wages, benefits, and working conditions. We still have improvements and changes which need to be made. One of the surest ways to accomplish this is through solidarity. Solidarity now and for the future.
