The rally was quite successful. There were 500 to 600 people in attendance and significant media
coverage. There were a number of speakers from a number of different aspects. Some of the
most interesting speakers were members and representatives of the unions represented at the
rally. The Tea Party held a rally at the bottom of the hill, there were only about 50 or so tea party
members. This rally really represents a first step in combating the misinformation and downright
lies that are being promulgated in the effort to place unions at the blame for the sad economic
conditions present today.
